Transparent Paint for Pools 4.5 kg – POOL TRANSPARENT

POOL TRANSPARENT is a two-component paint based on modified transparent polyurethane resin, specially designed for waterproofing swimming pools and basins tiled with ceramic, faience, stoneware, glass mosaic.

Application procedure

Surface preparation:

• The surface must be clean, dry, free of dust, oil, or residues.

• In pools in use, after emptying, wait at least 7 days for the joints to completely dry.

• Damaged joints must be repaired with cement-based fillers and left to fully cure.

• Apply ISONEM LIQUID GLASS primer in a single coat, consumption 75 – 100 g/m². After 4 hours, apply the final coat.

Mixture preparation:

• Component A must be thoroughly mixed before use.

• Add component B to A and mix for 3 – 4 minutes until completely homogeneous.

Application:

• Apply a single coat, with a brush, roller, or by spraying.

• The prepared mixture must be used within max. 5–6 hours.

• After application, the pool should be left to cure for 10 days before filling with water.

Application conditions / limitations

• Application: in the same direction as the primer coat

• Surface: completely dry

• Primer consumption: 75 – 100 g/m² (ISONEM LIQUID GLASS)

• Product consumption: 100 – 200 g/m²

• Coverage: 22.5 – 45 m² / set

• Interval between coats: 4 hours (between primer and final coat)

• Application temperature: +5 °C to +35 °C

• The surface must be protected from rain, water, and mechanical shocks for 24 hours after application.

Packaging and storage

• Packaging: 4.5 kg set (Comp. A: 4 kg, Comp. B: 0.5 kg)

• Storage temperature: 5 – 35 °C

• Shelf life: 24 months (in original, unopened, and undamaged packaging)

• Storage conditions: Store in a dry and cool place, away from heat and fire sources.
