THERMAL PAINT is a thermo-insulating paint based on elastomeric resins, contains special vacuum microspheres, has vapor permeability, is water-based, with low thermal conductivity, high solar radiation absorption, and high surface heat transfer value.

It is a special insulating paint with scientifically proven efficiency, which provides thermal insulation and waterproofing for interior and exterior facades.

Application procedure

Surface preparation:

• The surface must be cleaned of dust, oil, grease, friable or foreign materials.

• The primer is chosen according to the surface:

  • For concrete, untreated wood, membranes, shingles: ISONEM UNIVERSAL PRIMER (1:7 diluted with water).

  • For metal/steel: ISONEM ANTI RUST PRIMER (consumption: 250 – 350 g/m²).

• Primer consumption: 100 – 200 g/m².

• After applying the primer, wait 4–6 hours for drying before applying the main coat.

Application method:

• The product should be thoroughly mixed before use.

• Exterior application: 2 – 3 coats with roller or brush, without dilution.

• Interior application: 1 – 2 coats (depending on color and coverage).

• Roof application: 2 – 3 coats.

• The coats are applied perpendicular to each other, with a waiting time of 4 hours between coats.

• Application temperature: 5 – 35 °C.

Consumption:

• Interior: max. 300 mL/m² (approx. 1 L for 3–4 m²).

• Exterior/roof: 1 L/m² for 2–3 coats.

Coverage (paintable surface):

• 5 L bucket: 2.5 – 5 m² (2–3 coats)

• 10 L bucket: 5 – 10 m² (2–3 coats)

• 18 L bucket: 9 – 18 m² (2–3 coats)

Important aspects

• The application surface must be dry and breathable.

• If applied to an already painted surface, the existing paint must be vapor permeable.

• The surface must be protected from rain, water, mechanical shocks and loads for 24 hours after application.

• Too high or too low consumption can lead to reduced efficiency and undesirable effects.

• Packaging: 5, 10 and 18 L PP buckets

• Storage temperature: 5 – 35 °C

• Shelf life: 24 months from manufacturing date (in original, unopened, undamaged packaging)
