Water-Based Fire Retardant Paint – ANTI FIRE PAINT

ANTI FIRE PAINT is a fire-retardant, water-based, solvent-free finish paint that forms a continuous protective layer after drying. The product is resistant to fire and flame, elastic, and unaffected by substrate movements. It is waterproof but vapor-permeable, allowing the surface to breathe. Thanks to its special formula, it does not retain dirt and maintains the appearance of the surface for a long time.

It is easily applied to dry or slightly damp surfaces and is recommended as a final protective layer over ISONEM ANTI FIRE PAINT PLUS or as a fire-retardant paint on clean and prepared substrates.

Application Instructions

Surface preparation:

• If used as a topcoat, apply over ISONEM ANTI FIRE PAINT PLUS.

• If applied directly, the substrate must be clean, dry, and free of dust, oil, rust, and loose particles.

• Depending on the substrate:

  • Concrete, wood, membranes, shingles: prime with ISONEM UNIVERSAL PRIMER (1:7 diluted in water, consumption 100–200 g/m²).

  • Metal/steel: prime with ISONEM ANTI RUST PRIMER (consumption 250–350 g/m²).

Application:

• The product is well mixed and 2 coats (for concrete/wood etc.) or 1 coat (for metal/steel) are applied.

• Apply with brush, roller, or spray, without dilution.

• Interval between coats: 4 hours.

Application Conditions / Limitations

• Application: in perpendicular coats

• Substrate moisture: dry surface

• Consumption:

  • 0.6 – 1.0 kg/m² (2 coats, concrete, wood, membranes, etc.)

  • 0.3 – 0.5 kg/m² (1 coat, metal/steel)

• Coverage: 18 – 60 m² / bucket (depending on coat and substrate type)

• Application temperature: 5 – 35 °C

• Recommended tools: epoxy roller, brush, airless spray

IMPORTANT

• For maximum performance, apply over ISONEM ANTI FIRE PAINT PLUS.

• Treated surfaces must be protected from rain, water, mechanical shocks, and impacts for 24 h after application.
