Water-based Elastic Waterproof Paint – MS POLIA

MS POLIA is a new generation polymer with excellent properties, ready-to-use, water-based, UV-resistant, with an elastic structure. It is used as a waterproofing material on terraces and roofs, on concrete, plaster, wood, metal surfaces, on surfaces with sprayed polyurethane for thermal insulation, as well as on exterior facades.

Application instructions

Surface preparation:

• The surface must be clean and dry, free of dust, mud, rust, oil or other impurities.

• Do not apply on surfaces with salt efflorescence or water infiltration on the negative side.

• Cracks and repairs must be made beforehand with ISONEM M 03 (elastic mortar).

• In areas with expansion joints, these are sealed beforehand with ISONEM A4 (elastic mastic).

• Before applying the product, it is recommended to reinforce with 45 g/m² mesh on large surfaces at risk of cracking.

• The primer is applied depending on the substrate:

  • Concrete, wood, shingle: ISONEM UNIVERSAL PRIMER (1:7 diluted with water, 100–200 g/m²).

  • Metal/steel: ISONEM ANTI RUST PRIMER (250–350 g/m²).

• Primer drying time: 4–6 hours.

Application method:

• The product is ready to use and only needs to be well mixed before application.

• Apply undiluted, in two coats, with a 4-hour interval between coats.

• Application is done with a roller (synthetic epoxy), brush, or suitable spray.

• Do not apply on wet, frozen surfaces or at temperatures below 5°C.

• On flat roofs, ensure proper slope and the existence of water drains to avoid ponding.

• Coverage (paintable surface):

  • 5 kg: min. 5 m² (2 coats)

• Time between coats: 4 hours

• Application temperature: 5 – 35 °C

IMPORTANT

• The surface must be protected from rain, water, mechanical shocks and loads for 24 hours after application.

Packaging & Storage

• Packaging: 5, 10 and 18 kg PP buckets

• Storage temperature: 5 – 35 °C

• Shelf life: 24 months from manufacturing date, in original, unopened and undamaged packaging

• Conditions: keep tightly closed, in a dry and cool place
