Two-Component Solvent-Free Epoxy Paint – FLOOR 2K

FLOOR 2K is an indoor coating system based on solvent-free epoxy resin, with very high chemical and physical resistance, applicable in thick layers. The product was developed for the protection of concrete and metal surfaces against external chemical and mechanical effects.

Application Procedure

Surface preparation:

• Concrete: the surface must be clean, dry, free of dust, oil, or loose particles. For fresh concrete, wait 21 days for full curing before application. Apply ISONEM EP PRIMER (epoxy primer) with a consumption of 0.250 – 0.400 kg/m².

• Steel/metal: if old epoxy paint that cannot be removed is present, sand and clean with solvent. Apply ISONEM ANTI RUST PRIMER (anti-corrosion primer) with a consumption of 0.250 – 0.400 kg/m².

Mixture preparation:

• Open Component A (epoxy paint) and mix for a few minutes.

• Add Component B (hardener) and mix for another 2 minutes until a homogeneous composition is obtained.

• The mixing ratio must be strictly observed.

Application:

• Apply with a brush, roller, or sprayer in 2 coats.

• The second coat is applied after the first one has dried, within a maximum of 24 hours (min. 6 hours).

• Application should be done in the same direction for uniformity.

IMPORTANT

• The surface must be protected from rain, water, mechanical loads, and shocks for 24 hours after application.

• The product is for indoor use only.

• The mixture (A+B) must be used within 30–40 min (23 °C).

• The pot life of the mixture increases at lower temperatures and decreases at higher temperatures.

• Storage temperature: 5 – 35 °C

• Shelf life: 24 months (in original, unopened, undamaged packaging)
