Special Plaster for Damp and Deteriorated Walls 20 kg – MS 20

MS 20 is a special plaster designed for the rehabilitation of damp and damaged walls. Walls absorb water laden with salts (carbonate, sulfate, nitrate) from the soil, through capillary channels and pores, in different seasons. The absorbed water evaporates, leaving behind traces of moisture and salts that accumulate in the walls and in the plaster layer.

When moisture returns, the salts rise to the surface, causing the paint and even the plaster to peel.

Application procedure

Surface preparation:

• The salt-affected plaster layer must be completely removed by mechanical methods.

• Cracks and voids are repaired with ISONEM M 03 (elastic mortar).

Application method:

• In a container, add 4 L of clean water and mix 20 kg of product for 5 minutes, until a homogeneous paste is obtained.

• Application is done in two coats:

  • First coat: applied with a trowel, thickness ~5 mm.

  • After 24 hours, apply a second coat of ~20 mm, leveled and finished.

• Painting can be done after 14 days. The use of vapor-permeable paints is recommended.
