Rapid-Setting Mortar for Stopping Leaks – M 36

M 36 is a fast-setting mortar, ready to use, that instantly stops water infiltration. Upon contact with water, the product hardens in 40–50 seconds, blocking leaks.

Application Procedure

Application method (dry):

• Apply in powder form, wearing rubber gloves.

• Take a small amount of material in your palm and press it firmly into the active infiltration area.

• Maintain pressure until the material hardens and stops the leak.

• Remove excess material with a dry brush.

• Afterwards, apply ISONEM M 35 in three layers, to achieve permanent waterproofing.

Application method (as mortar):

• Mix the powder with clean water in a ratio of 2/5 (40%) until a workable paste is obtained.

• The mortar begins to heat up due to the reaction; the mixture is shaped into a plug and pressed into the leak area.

• Maintain pressure until fully hardened.

• As with dry application, the surface is finished with ISONEM M 35 (3 layers).

Application Conditions / Limitations

• Application temperature: 5 – 35 °C

• Surface: must be clean, free of dust, oil, mud, or other impurities

• Coverage (space occupied in bucket):

  • 5 kg: min. 2.5 L

  • 10 kg: min. 5 L

  • 18 kg: min. 9 L

IMPORTANT

• The surface must be protected from rain, water, mechanical loads, and impacts for 24 hours after application.

• For permanent waterproofing, subsequent application of ISONEM M 35 is recommended.

• Packaging: 5 kg, 10 kg, and 18 kg PP buckets

• Storage temperature: 5 – 35 °C

• Shelf life: 24 months from manufacturing date, in original, unopened and undamaged packaging

• Conditions: keep tightly closed, in a dry and cool place
