Flexible Cement-Based Waterproofing Material 30 kg – MD 28

MD 28 is a two-component product (powder + liquid), based on a new-generation hybrid polymer, with crack-bridging capacity, abrasion resistance, and suitability for pedestrian traffic.

Application Procedure

Surface preparation:

• Surfaces must be cleaned of dust, oil, mud, and other impurities.

• The substrate must be clean and damp.

• Concrete defects are repaired with ISONEM M 03 (elastic mortar).

• Surfaces with adhesion problems should be treated with ISONEM D 10 LATEX, and the application should be done while the surface is still tacky, before complete drying.

Mixture preparation:

• Component B (liquid, 10 kg) is poured into a clean container.

• Gradually add Component A (powder, 20 kg), mixing continuously for 5 minutes with a mechanical mixer (400 rpm).

• A homogeneous, fluid mortar, applicable with a brush, is obtained.

Application method:

• Apply in 3 coats, in mutually perpendicular directions.

• The wet film thickness should not exceed 1 mm/coat.

• Wait at least 4 hours between coats, but no more than 24 hours.

• Do not apply in freezing conditions or excessive heat.

• It is recommended to apply in cool weather (morning or evening).

• Used tools should be cleaned immediately with water.

IMPORTANT

• The surface must be protected from rain, water, mechanical loads, and shocks for 24 hours after application.

• Do not apply in freezing conditions or extreme temperatures.

• Packaging: 30 kg set (Component A: 20 kg craft bag / Component B: 10 kg PE container)

• Storage temperature: 5 – 35 °C

• Shelf life: 24 months from manufacturing date, in original, unopened, and undamaged packaging

• Conditions: keep tightly closed, in a dry and cool place
