Transparent and Glossy Resin-Based Waterproofing – LIQUID GLASS

LIQUID GLASS is a two-component product with excellent adhesion on a wide range of surfaces: glass, mosaic, ceramic tiles, porcelain, ceramics, marble, granite, natural stone, wood, concrete, screed, galvanized sheet metal, aluminum, etc.

Application procedure

Surface preparation:

• Maximum relative air humidity 80%, ambient temperature 15 – 35°C, substrate temperature min. 5°C.

• Do not apply in rain.

• Surfaces must be perfectly clean (free of dust, oil, dirt, rust, residues).

• For ceramic/tile applications, worn joints must be repaired before application.

• A sanded surface provides better adhesion.

Application method:

• The two components must be mixed well, in the indicated proportions, until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

• The number of coats depends on the surface type:

  • Concrete, raw wood etc.: 2 coats

  • Marble, granite, ceramic tiles, ceramics, metal/steel: 1 coat

• Waiting time between coats: 4 – 24 hours.

• Apply with an epoxy roller, brush, or sprayer.

Application conditions / Limitations

• Application: in the same direction as the first coat

• Surface moisture: dry

• Primer: not necessary

• Product consumption:

  • 150 – 200 g/m² (2 coats)

  • 75 – 100 g/m² (1 coat)

• Coverage:

  • 2 kg set → 10 – 13 m²

  • 4 kg set → 20 – 26 m²

• Time between coats: 4 – 24 hours

• Application temperature: 5 – 35 °C

IMPORTANT

• Surfaces must be protected from rain, water, mechanical loads, and shocks for 24 hours after application.

• Component B must be used immediately after opening.

• Opened and air-exposed packaging cannot be reused.

Packaging & Storage

• Packaging:

  • 2 kg set (Comp. A: 1.65 kg + Comp. B: 0.35 kg)

  • 4 kg set (Comp. A: 3.3 kg + Comp. B: 0.7 kg)

• Storage temperature: 5 – 35 °C

• Shelf life: 24 months from manufacturing date (in original, unopened, undamaged packaging)

• Storage conditions: dry and cool place, tightly closed, away from fire and heat sources
