Epoxy Anti-Corrosion Primer for Metal Surfaces 5 kg – ANTI RUST PRIMER

ANTI RUST PRIMER is a solvent-free, epoxy resin-based anti-corrosion primer, applicable directly to all metal surfaces. It protects against corrosion due to its high-performance anti-corrosive structure. It provides excellent adhesion, dries quickly, and is easy to apply.
It is also used as a protective layer for concrete structures or as a primer before applying ISONEM Anti Fire Paint Plus intumescent paint for metal structures (fire resistance 120 min).

Application Instructions

Surface preparation:

• The surface must be clean, dry and free of dust, oil, dirt or loose particles.

• Metal surfaces must be abrasive blasted to at least Sa 2½ and primed within 6 hours.

• Material temperatures must be min. +15°C before application.

Mixture preparation:

• Component A is mixed with a mechanical mixer, then component B is added and mixed until a homogeneous mass is obtained.

• After mixing, the material should be left for 10–15 min before application.

Application:

• Apply with a stiff brush, short-pile roller, or airless spray.

• No dilution required.

• For the second coat, apply after the first coat has dried (5–24 hours). If the time is exceeded, the surface must be sanded.

• Product consumption: 0.25 – 0.30 kg/m²

Special Recommendations

• Concrete surfaces with defects must be repaired with ISONEM M 03 + ISONEM D10 LATEX.

• For metals, after priming, a protective layer is recommended (e.g., Anti Fire Paint Plus or MS Polymer).

• After mixing, the product must be consumed within a maximum of 2–3 hours.

IMPORTANT

The surface must be protected from rain, water, mechanical shocks, and impacts for 24 hours after application.
